Pondering the Ebbing of the Flow

So I've been pondering on our cyclical nature  and how we  as humans are a part of this ebb and flow rhythm of life. The valleys and  peaks , the highs and  lows ...we all experience both .

It feels quite easy to navigate life when we are in " Flow" . Our nervous system is regulated & restful and "life"unfolds smoothly . All is well.

Though when the  "Ebbing " arrives....how do we navigate then ?

When our pathways are being  challenged ,  our sense of direction feels unclear, what once seemed purposeful seems purposeless.

It may feel like we are sitting in a place of overwhelm ,nothingness or numbness....confused about how to sort it , how to  move back into the flow.

There are many situations in life that lead us to  experience the "Ebb" cycle.

I know I have had my fair share.

Simply, it's called life and  a part of being human . Personally, I believe the Ebb cycle is a time that creates great  potential for healing , growth and transition..

Though in saying this ,It's taken a long time  for me to comfortably sit in the valley of "Ebbness".

To just allow in this receiving energy of  stillness, be courageous enough not to fear the shadows that may accompany this underlying current, and to allow it to unfold as it will, finding its own completion without having to force  change or try to control..

To trust that it will pass and to know that flow will arrive again with the gift of more insight, clarity and gained wisdom.

I've also  felt  that this cycle of Ebb invites an opportunity to connect more  closely to  intuition and the  everyday existence of big or small  synchronicities, coincidences and  revelations of the past or present that sometimes can be taken for granted when  in  flow.

They are all potent  energies that serve as a reminder  that we are being  guided , supported and held by a much  greater higher power beyond our human selves.
